François Michaud is a French-Canadian visual artist based in Victoria, British Columbia. For more than four decades, he has developed a body of work spanning painting, sculpture, and cut-paper that explores the relationships between the living world, landscape, and the territories we inhabit. His practice examines the tensions between movement and rootedness, presence and absence, memory and transformation.
